After being diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder in 2016 - I remember finally feeling relieved to receive a "reason" why I had been so anxious in my life since my teens.
I was a people-pleaser because I was anxious about God being happy about me, my parents and everyone thinking that I was respectful, happy about me - even at the sacrifice of me being UNHAPPY.
But it was constantly checking to see if I was doing everything right...
"Jai got a divorce..." > (Me): What is everyone thinking? (At 27 years old...I was really trying to read the thoughts of my family and friends.)
Fast forward to 2020. Omg, a client didn't pay her invoice - ok, so I won't be able to pay my cell phone bill.
Nervous system shock activated.
What are people going to think because I didn't pay my phone bill?
Oh no, I went out with friends to a happy hour for 3 hours - I should have stayed home and worked!
Oh my gosh, I should have never went to that event and then I didn't reach out to people for the past 2 weeks...this is not good.
^^^ The level of nervous system shocks that I went through on and off for 6 years was from NOT setting boundaries with myself and a schedule.
The nervous system is a very sensitive function.
It's the manifested system of the SOUL. What is the soul? It houses the EMOTION, WILL, INTELLECT, and the MIND.
That 4-cord collective system is the unseen result of the nervous system.
You're not doing anything REGULAR. So you need order.
You are building a legacy...you need ORDER.
A study that was conducted by researchers at Tel Aviv University in 2020, published in the "Psychoneuroendocrinology" journal found that a disruption in daily routine led to an increase in stress hormones…
— demonstrating the interplay between routines and our nervous system's regulation.
The results when a routine and schedule is implemented, showed significant improvements in mood regulation.
If we let our routines get out of whack, we're basically inviting chaos into our mental space, and that's not the state of mind you want to be in when you're making important business or investment decisions.
Most women think that routines and schedules are RESTRICTIVE…and that’s far from the truth.
You are training your body to walk into a new and upleveled version of yourself.
That’s going to take a new regulation strategy.
You have to realize that what you have been doing for the past 35+ years of so is not making sense.
Here are 4 reasons why you need a STRICT routine and schedule —
A regulated nervous system leads to better decision-making and focus—two essential traits you'll need to build that 7-figure empire and beyond.
You can't convert anyone until you learn how to feel safe and secure in your body. That's an unmovable space.
Until those 4 areas are stable, you'll be sporadically closing, building, and questioning your business - When people are NOT regulated, they are not consistent...when they are not regulated, they are not generated revenue...when they are not regulated...they are clouded and unfocused.
Your entire future and the future of business success is contingent upon the degree of your self-mastery.
